Twilight Jewels: launching a new collection

Are you a jeweler too?
Have you ever wondered how to get started?
…do you list items one at a time as they are completed, or wait?

When I first started, I didn’t do much research. I was just so excited to create some beautiful homes for gorgeous stones! When I worked up the courage to put those pieces out there, I listed them all at once (about 5-6 rings).

Next listing: still no research, I was laser focused in creating a set of celestial rings (6 in total) with faceted gemstones, and also made some celestial stud earrings (made to order).

Transitional Phase: I still had the looming question of ‘could I be going about this in a better way?’, so took a little break from creating to immerse myself in researching the World Wide Web. After a couple weeks of early morning self-study, I feel much more confident in continuing to pursue this dream. The most helpful information I found was from Renae Christine.

Now: armed with a mindset of creating a set of 10 items as part of a collective line, I’m much more focused with a clear view of an overall goal! Taking time to plan what stones to use, the general designs, with a set number in mind, is incredibly helpful.

So far, I have 6 out of 10. And am working on the next piece – the pickle pot is ready to go as I type this!

Take a peek at what I’ve made so far 🙂

Twilight Jewels collection:

These pieces as well as a few more will be available sometime in November!

    1. Aww thank you!
That’s awesome 💛 I don’t think there’s a ‘right way’ to do this, whatever works best for the artist really. I have a bad habit of going off track and am still trying to find my groove, the planning helps me find my way. 🙈 Your pieces are all so gorgeous and tie in together so beautifully! 💖
